Songwriting

Rod has been songwriting for 25+ years and has written albums, recorded singles and worked with some great artists with tracks published worldwide.

If you have some song ideas that you are wanting to turn into singles then get in touch for a co-writing session. The song is THE most important link in the chain so give your art the attention it needs from the start in order to make the best record possible.

Recording, Production & Mixing

Record your tracks in a professional studio that has been acoustically treated and has angled walls and ceilings so sounds great! There is enough space to track a live band (and over-dub extra guitars, piano, vocals etc. after) via a vintage 8-channel TEAC analogue desk. Some of the gear you will see in major studios but at half the cost to record here.

Video & Location Shoots

A number of artists have asked about shooting a live video here and that is possible. There are some additional film lights, the studio has a great vibe and can comfortably fit 3 or 4 people in the shot at once.

Also, if you need a location for filming podcasts here, product videos or recording voiceovers - all are possible depending on requirements and duration. Get in touch to provide details.

Many artists have 'bedroom studios' and use programmed or virtual instruments to build songs with. While that's good for demos it is very difficult to replicate a real drummer playing on an acoustic drum kit that's been properly recorded.

Ownmade can help here and record real drums on your track played by an experienced session player. Also, has a roster of other experienced players (for bass, guitar or keys-Hammond). Get in touch if this is something you need on your tracks?
