Ownmade Studios is a fantastic garden music room that is soundproof, acoustically treated and vintage inspired but being hand-built there really is nothing else like it! It has angled walls and a sloping ceiling for great sound, a sun tunnel for natural light, circular acoustic ceiling clouds, a restored vintage mid-century parquet floor and vintage Danish furniture.
Why Record Here?
There are many hurdles to over-come in the journey from sketching song ideas at home to having a hit that connects with millions of new listeners. Technology has become so much more accessible now that there's a danger nearly anyone with a mic and an audio interface can record a track themselves. Or become a 'bedroom producer' offering this service just on a laptop. That's fine for certain genres like EDM but great songs, emotive performances with real instruments that move people requires more than the bare minimum - your music deserves more than that.
I work with musicians who want to raise the bar on their songs and records - across the entire process from the song itself, structure, production, arrangement, recording to the final mix. Any record worth making deserves to be your best as once it's out there then it's out! And your songs are your currency so investing in this important stage can really launch people's music careers, secure radio plays, get signed or entering in the charts.

Took the recorded drums home and they turned out like you'd expect from an expensive London studio which shows the room shape works - sounds great!
